Changes to the Hash Rush Project: New ICO Start Date, New Website, New White Paper & Team Additions
As announced in our most recent weekly update, we are making some changes. In this article, we will explain exactly what these are and how they will benefit the Hash Rush project. We’ll discuss the following topics in particular:
- The new start and end dates of the upcoming Hash Rush ICO,
- The second version of our white paper,
- An overhaul of the Hash Rush website, and
- The latest additions to the Hash Rush team.
New Dates for the Hash Rush ICO
There’s been a lot going on lately in the Hash Rush headquarters. We brought our pre-sale to a successful end and raised more than 2,600 ETH. At the same time, we’ve been working on our white paper 2.0, overhauling our website (see below) and planning visits to upcoming blockchain conferences.
Although all of these tasks are significant, the Hash Rush ICO is currently our top priority. If we truly want to make a difference and create a game that appeals to both gamers and cryptocurrency enthusiasts alike, we need to make the Hash Rush ICO even more successful than the pre-sale.
For that reason, we decided to put in place a one-week shift of the start and end dates of the ICO. This means that the Hash Rush ICO will start at 20:00 UTC on September 20, 2017 and end at 20:00 UTC on October 20, 2017 unless a cap of 64,050,000 Rush Coin tokens sold is reached earlier. Note that this doesn’t change anything to the ICO specifics (which you can find in the white paper and soon in a FAQ on our website); we have simply put this change in place because we want to do the ICO right.
Hash Rush White Paper 2.0
And in order to do the ICO right, we also realised the need to improve our white paper. While the first version did the job, we heard from you, our investors, friends, and growing community, that its length and structure could be improved. In other words, an overhaul was in order.
Today, on 6 September 2017, we can proudly announce that we finished a new version of our white paper. The Hash Rush white paper ‘2.0’ gives investors, gamers, altcoin-hunters and all our stakeholders a proper overview of the Hash Rush project. Please take a look at the Hash Rush white paper 2.0.
A New Look for the Hash Rush Website
However, the white paper 2.0 is not the only thing we’ve been working on the past few weeks. Taking the next step for the Hash Rush project means providing a better and slicker experience for web and mobile users of our website.
Our new website is much more user-friendly and provides a good summary of Hash Rush, though it is still a work in progress. Soon we will add other sections to our website (e.g. about our team) and make sure these are up and running before the start of the ICO. Stay tuned.
Welcoming Members to Our Team
Our last major announcement today—sorry we had so many—concerns the Hash Rush team. We’ve spoken about our team before, but we’ve come a long way since then. Our team now consists of over 15 members who together are working hard every day to bring this unique game to the market. Now we want to mention our latest additions to the team:
Craig Ritchie recently joined Hash Rush as our Director of Marketing. Having worked in gaming for the last 6 years, most recently as Live Marketing Manager of CCP Games’ EVE: Valkyrie, we’re confident that his gaming and marketing expertise will come in handy.
Jethro Naude is taking up the position of Chief Game Economist. Jethro’s background is in investment banking and corporate finance, though he is a life-long gamer with a deep understanding of economics and in-game marketplaces.
Benefiting the Players of Hash Rush
As you can imagine, we’re ecstatic that they have joined our team and we’re confident that they can help us spread the idea of Hash Rush even further. In that same line of thought, we believe that the changes we made to our ICO, our white paper and the Hash Rush website will only improve the way people view our project and will ultimately benefit the players of Hash Rush. Nonetheless, we realise that you may be left with particular questions or suggestions. If that’s the case, please don’t hesitate to leave your comment below, join us on Slack or find us on Twitter, Reddit or Facebook.
